At Café Hampei we love to bring you delicious recipes that include our favorite drink. As before, we always bring you dishes that you can also make and enjoy with your family. This time, we want to please your palate with three delicious coffee desserts. If they are not enough you can complement them with hot coffee or iced coffee. Coffee granita
The first hot days are already beginning. Why not treat yourself to the drink that we love? You only need 500 grams of ready-made coffee, 60 grams of sugar and 8 milliliters of lemon juice. To enhance the flavor and if you like it, use a strong coffee, a robust blend for example. If, on the other hand, you want to achieve sweeter tones, use Arabic blends such as Café Hampei.
While you prepare your coffee, heat 100 milliliters of water and dissolve the sugar in it. Let this mixture boil for 5 minutes until a syrup or syrup is formed and at this point add lemon juice. Before removing it from the heat, check if the sugar is to your liking. When it cools down, pour the coffee over it and place it in the freezer in a small bowl or tray for 2 hours. Remove it and break the ice crystals that form and repeat the operation every 30 minutes. The mixture will be increasingly golden and appetizing. Serve it whenever you want in tall glass glasses and enjoy the refreshing dessert.
Latte muffins
For a breakfast as life dictates, our milk with coffee can not miss the muffins. If you forgot to buy them at the supermarket, you can make them tonight and surprise everyone in the morning. In addition, this recipe allows you to control the different measures to your liking and have them ready in a very short time. You need a few ingredients, but they are very easy to get.
Heat 250 milliliters of milk and dissolve in it a tablespoon of instant coffee or a cup of whatever is left over in the morning. Mix them well and separate them for a while. Beat 4 eggs together with 250 grams of sugar until a voluminous and whitish mixture remains. Then add the milk with the coffee that you had separated and 250 milliliters of sunflower oil. Little by little, stir all the ingredients until they are integrated and add 315 grams of flour and 7 grams of yeast or baking soda.
Serve the final mixture with a pastry bag in a special tray for cupcakes, putting a paper before so that they do not stick to the support. Place them in the oven at 200 ° for 10 or 15 minutes. You will get approximately 24 muffins for your next breakfasts and snacks. Those that don’t eat right away, store them in an airtight box or container so they don’t get hard.
Chocolate and coffee cake without oven
If you want a quick and rich recipe, this cake is made for you. As always, we like you to share your love for baking with the little ones at home, so get to work. Although it contains coffee, it will not have negative effects on your children. You will need 200 milliliters of strong and cold coffee, 225 grams of dark chocolate, 200 grams of condensed milk, 180 milliliters of liquid cream, 250 grams of square or rectangular cookies, powdered chocolate and chocolate chips to your liking.
Prepare the coffee and let it cool. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and mix it with the condensed milk and cream until they are perfectly integrated. Line your mold with paper and start assembling your cake. Create layers with the cookies by previously dipping them in the coffee that we had set aside. Between each of the layers place the chocolate until you finish with the cookies on top. Put another piece of transparent paper on top and put it in the freezer for at least three hours. Enjoy it later decorated with chocolate chips and cocoa powder.
